Receive important notices by email, text or automated phone call
Cedar Point Federal Credit Union® offers members options for receiving important alerts about their accounts. You can set up reminders, balance alerts, loan payment date alerts, daily balances, and many more.
For flexibility and convenience, you can choose to receive these alerts either by email, text or automated phone call.

Remember, Cedar Point will never text you a fraud alert. If you receive a text about unusual activity on your account, call us at 301-863-7071 to verify the legitimacy of the text. Do not click any links, and do not forward the message.
You may receive messages from Cedar Point in your digital banking inbox from time to time. These are not considered alerts and are not individually manageable.
Sign Up to Receive Alerts
To begin receiving alerts, you need to sign up for digital banking. Once you have access to your account online, you can set up your alert preferences within the digital banking app.
To add an alert to your account:
- Choose “settings” in the digital banking app
- Then choose “alert settings.”
- Then choose “new alert”
- Choose the alerts you wish to receive by toggling them on/off
You can choose to add alerts to your account, account history, and transactions, as well as set reminder alerts. You can also edit your delivery preferences if you’d prefer to be alerted via email, text, or phone.
